Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Good Corporate Governance which was proxied through an audit committee, an independent board of commissioners, managerial ownership, institutional ownership and corporate social responsibility on the value of mining sector companies listed on the Indonesia stock exchange in 2016-2018. The research sample used was 17 mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2018 with a purposive sampling technique. The type of data used is secondary data in the form of annual reports sourced from the IDX (Indonesia Stock Exchange) website. The results of this study prove that the GCG proxied by the audit committee has a negative effect on firm value, while the GCG proxied by the independent board of commissioners, managerial ownership, and institutional ownership has a positive effect on company value, and this study also proves that CSR disclosure has a negative effect on firm value.
