Abstract
This research is aimed to produce students’ worksheet or known as Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik to support school literacy movement or known as Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS) on comparison materials in grade VII which is valid, practical and has a potential effect on student learning outcomes. This research was a development research using development method with formative research method developed by Tessmer which consists of preliminary phases and formative evaluation. In addition, the formative evaluation phase consists of several steps, those are: self-evaluation, expert review, one-to-one, small group and field test. In the expert review phase, the average validity of the experts was 3.37 for LKPD 1 and 3.4 for LKPD 2 with the categories of each LKPD valid. In the trial phase (small group) conducted at the Junior High School Srijaya Negara, a practical category was obtained for LKPD 1 and LKPD 2 which were known from the analysis of student answers. Furthermore, in the field test, it was found that there was a potential effect of LKPD on student learning outcomes which was known from the assessment of test results of students> 70% of students got excellent category. Moreover, based on these results it can be concluded that the LKPD which has been developed is valid, practical and has potential effects on student learning outcomes.
