Abstract
Electric motor efficiency is a comparison between the mechanical power that is capable of being produced by a motor with the power used. The smaller the efficiency of a motor, the greater the loss of electricity costs will be obtained by the user. Nowadays, efficiency is very important, by using motor that energy saving is expected to reduce fuel consumption, reduce power generation costs and can reduce maintenance costs and improve its operation. In this research the author analyzed the electric motor used as a mobilizer in the injection machine waste tube (spuit) and infusion bottles as well as comparing the efficiency of the motor with various variations of samples. Testing was conducted using dimmers and without using dimmers. The test result with the highest efficiency value of 97.15% is when the motor operates without using a dimmer with a sample of 1 piece of 5ml dispossible tube, while the test with the smallest efficiency value of 91.07% is when the electric motor operates using a dimmer on a scale 7 and squeals 2 infusion bottles 500ml.
