Abstract

This research is a descriptive study in which this research is conducted to find out the students' mathematical connection ability after using proof-based learning methods on logarithms material. The subject in this study were students of class X MIA 2 SMA NEGERI 10 PALEMBANG, totaling 40 students. For data collection techniques used test that contained 5 items, which for the test questions themselves have been adjusted previously to measure students' mathematical connection abilities. The result of the research that have been done are obtained by students with 35% good mathematical connection, ability with total of 14 students, 42,5% students with a total of 17 students, with 12,5% students with a total of 5 students and students who are categorized as less as much as 7,5% with a total 3 students.
