Abstract

Blackjack is a type of casino game that is based on a kind of randomness in the mechanics of the game. A Blackjack is fair if randomness is not biased. To believe that this game is fair, we need a random number generator in the game mechanism. In this study, the Liner Feedback Shift Register (LFSR) method will be applied in the randomization mechanism of Blackjack game cards. The focus of this study is the method of generating random numbers on randomizing Android-based Blackjack game cards and comparing them to card randomization manually. Tests conducted in this study were conducted two tests. First, the statistical test with a run test on the system with the results of passing 100% statistical test from 26 random number generator experiments. Secondly, the experimental test compared statistically the results of random number generation between randomization of the system by the LFSR method compared with randomized card manually. The results of the second test show that random numbers manually produce uneven randomization and manifest greater interference than mechanical random numbers through the system.
