Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dan perbedaan leverage terhadap kinerja keuangan pada perusahaan related dan unrelated diversification di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder yang diperoleh dari laporan tahunan perusahaan tahun 2015-2018. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 15 perusahaan related dan 16 perusahaan unrelated diversification. Metode yang digunakan ialah metode kausal komparatif. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik regresi linear berganda dan analisis variansi multivariat. Hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa Short Debt to Asset Ratio (SDAR), Short Debt to Equity Ratio (SDER), Long Debt to Asset Ratio (LDAR) dan Long Debt to Equity Ratio (LDER) berpengaruh negatif terhadap Return on Asset (ROA) pada perusahaan related diversification dan unrelated diversification. Secara simultan leverage berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja keuangan pada perusahaan related diversification dan unrelated diversification. Serta terdapat perbedaan pengaruh leverage terhadap kinerja keuangan antara perusahaan related diversification dan unrelated diversification.
