Abstract

This study aims to produce an authentic and practical kind of children's language book group B Kindergarten valid and practical. This type of research is the development using the ADIDE model proposed by Dick & Carey with the stages of needs and objectives analysis, developing and selecting assessment materials (product design), and evaluation. Evaluation using the Tessmer fomative evaluation method consists of self evaluation, expert review, one to one evaluation, and small group evaluation. The results of expert review material validation of 85% and media validation of 90% obtained an average of 87% with a very valid category. This means that the assessment book is in accordance with the contents of the field of laguage development for group B Kindergarten children, then the construct consists of readability and appropriateness of images, while from the media seen from the book packaging, display design, use of letters and font sizes and illustrations of authentic assessment books . In the stage of one to one evaluation and small group evaluation obtained a percentage of 94% with the category of very practical. This means that the ease of use of authentic assessments is easy for the examiner and the instructions for using authentic assessments are easy to understand. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the authentic assesment book on laguage fields is easily understood by group B Kindergarten as well as feasible to use.
