Abstract

This research aimed to improve the learning outcomes of class IV grade students at SD Negeri 1 Palembang by applying the Two Stay Two Stray model on the theme of my heroes. This study uses a classroom action research method with three cycles of action. Data collection techniques used are test and observation. This classroom action research has four stages that must be fulfilled, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects in this study were students of class IV A of SD Negeri 1 Palembang with a total of 23 students consisting of 12 male students and 11 female students. The results of this study indicate that the completeness of student learning outcomes in the first cycle by completeness by 52,17%, in the second cycle of student learning completeness by 73,91%, and in the third cycle the completeness of student learning outcomes increased to 86,96%. From the observations, in the first cycle the percentage of student activity reached 60,43% in the quite active category, in the second cycle the percentage of student activity reached 71,18% in the active category, and in third cycle there was an increase of 83,28% in the very active category. So it can be conluded that by applying the Two Stay Two Stray learning model can improve the learning outcomes of students of claas IV SD Negeri 1 Palembang on the theme of my heroes.
