Abstract
Course selecting or marketing strategy can be used to set the targets and goals in the long run and the direction act and also the allocation of necessary resources. Quantitative Strategy Planning Matrix (QSPM) method can be applied in course to plan the marketing strategy by identifying the internal and external factors of the company, then analyzed by formulating some alternative strategies via SWOT matrix analysis and evaluated by the QSPM method to obtain the priority of marketing strategy for a course. Based on the research that has been done for Ganesha Operation (GO) course in Plaju, we obtain that QSPM analysis in alternative strategies formulated in SWOT matrix for GO course is resulting the highest TAS/Total Attractiveness Score for structure of competition strategy which is overcome by improving the teaching and learning activities facilities with the values of TAS is 32.36 and also we get the internal strength factors affecting students in course selection, such as maximal promotion, strategic location, service, and course facilities that meet the needs of teaching and learning activities.
