Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in the theme of my ideals in grade IV SD Negeri 28 Palembang with the Group Investigation model. The research method used was Classroom Action Research with 3 cycles of action. The research subjects were students of class IV B, totaling 29 consisting of 14 boys and 15 girls. The data collection techniques used were tests and observations. The results showed that the value of student learning outcomes had increased, this can be seen from the success of students in the first cycle with the acquisition of scores that were ≥75 as many as 18 students or 62.07%. In cycle II, the success of students increased with the acquisition of a value ≥75 as many as 22 students or 75.86%. In the third cycle, the learning success of students increased with the acquisition value of ≥75 as many as 24 students or by 82.76%. This is supported by the results of observations, the activeness of students has increased, in cycle I by 68.67%, then increased in cycle II by 71%, then in cycle III by 82.04%. From the results of the study it can be concluded that through the application of the learning model through the Group Investigation model can improve the learning outcomes of students on My Ideals Theme in grade IV SD Negeri 28 Palembang.
