Abstract
Toddler is a group that is very vulnerable to experiencing nutritional problems, one of which is malnutrition. Based on Riskesdas data, Indonesia has experienced an increase in malnutrition from year to year. One effort that can be done to overcome the problem of malnutrition is Recovery Supplementary Food Feeding (PMT-P). This research was conducted to see the Implementation of Planned Behavior Theory (TPB) in Providing Recovery Food Supplement (PMT-P) in under-nutrition children in Lahat Regency. This study uses an observational analytic survey using a cross sectional research design. The data obtained were processed and univariate and bivariate were analyzed. The sample is mothers who have undernourished children under five and receive PMT biscuits as many as 127 people. Strong intention can be formed from the positive attitude of mothers who think that extra food biscuits have benefits for their toddlers and mothers who have high normative beliefs will produce high awareness in providing supplementary food biscuits to their toddlers and good mother's perception of control has motivational implications for intention. The intention of the mother in providing supplementary food biscuits to her toddler can be formed from positive mother's attitude, subjective norms that support and perceptions of good control of maternal behavior. The suggestion is to increase education for mothers of children under five by the puskesmas through counseling related to the procedure of providing additional food biscuits as recommended.
