Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of classical guidance services using audiovisual media on the learning styles comprehension in students of class VIII 4 at SMP Negeri 1 Indralaya Selatan. This research uses a pretest-posttest design experimental method. The population in this study were all students of class VIII, and the sample in this study were students of class VIII 4 who were selected by purposive sampling technique. In general, the results of the study indicate that the implementation of classical guidance using audiovisual media which lasts 3-6 minutes in the class is quite effective in increasing the comprehension of students learning style. The results of this study indicate an increase in the learning styles comprehension which (t = 23.3> t table = 2.64). Thus it can be concluded that classical guidance using audiovisual media is effective in increasing comprehension of students learning style.
