Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan media flip chart abaca yang teruji valid dan praktis. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu wawancara, observasi dan walkthrough. Model penelitian yang digunakan adalah Rowntree dan evaluasi Tessmer dengan tahapan perencanaan, pengembangan, dan tahap evaluasi, self evaluation, expert review, one-to-one evaluation, small group evaluation. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa validasi materi dan validasi media dinyatakan valid oleh validator materi dan validator media. Pada tahap one-to-one evaluation mendapat nilai sebesar 84% dengan kategori sangat paraktis. Tahap small group evaluation mendapatkan nilai sebesar 85% dengan kategori sangat praktis, untuk melihat praktisan media flip chart abaca didapatkan persentase rata-rata dari one-to-one evaluation dan small group evaluation sebesar 84,5% dengan kategori sangat paraktis. Dengan demikian perkembangan media flip chat abaca dinyatakan valid dan praktis serta layak digunakan untuk kemampuan membaca peserta didik kelas 1 Sekolah Dasar. Kata kunci : Media Flip Chart Abaca
