Abstract
This research has been conducted experimentally to implement the ATS (Automation Transfer Switch) system. The sources used are State Power Plant and Solar Power Plant networks. This system aims to utilize Solar Power Plant On-Grid as alternative energy. This research was conducted in the area of the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Sriwijaya University because there is a large area of land and sufficient sunlight in the area. Based on the calculations that have been done, the total electrical energy required is 260,104 Wh. The PV Area is 523 m2. The solar panels used are Polycrystalline 325Wp totaling 260 units. 13 units of 110A Solar Controller. With a battery capacity of 40 units of 200Ah. While the inverter to be used with a capacity of 30kW is 1 unit. The ATS system uses 2 units of MK2P Relays. The total cost of building Solar Power On-Grid in the area of the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Sriwijaya University is IDR 1,596,700. The on-grid Solar Power Plant is designed using the ATS (Automation Transfer Switch) system, which functions to control two sources of electricity in the form of Solar Power and State Power Plant electricity. The components used in the ATS system are Relays. The relay functions as a switching for Solar Power Plant and State Power Plant networks. Keywords: State Power Plant On-Grid, ATS, Relay, Switching
