Abstract
Background. A learning media developed can be said to be of quality if it meets three standard assessment criteria consisting of valid, practical, and effective criteria. The purpose of this study was to determine the validity, effectiveness, and practicality of learning media for physiology domino cards in the physiology course in Medical Education FK Unsri. Method. This research includes research and development (R&D) with a 4D model design. The subjects of this study were 64 students of the medical education study program and were divided into the experimental group and the control group, each of which consisted of 32 students. The study was conducted in August-December 2020. Data analysis was carried out descriptively through comments and suggestions from experts and was carried out by using the Paired Sample T-test and Independent Sample T-test on the SPSS application. Result. Physiology Domino Card is categorized as valid because it has been evaluated by three validators and declared fit for use by students. From the results of data analysis using SPSS version 26, the N-Gain score in the experimental group was 68.3% and the control group was 54.4%. From the practicality test analysis, it was obtained a percentage of 92.38 from 12 students and 0.90 from each indicator on the practicality sheet. Conclusion. The Physiology Domino Card is categorized as valid, effective, and practical.
