Abstract
The aim of this research was to find out whether cash turnover, accounts receivable turnover, and inventory turnover, either partially or simultaneously, had influence on economic rentability in trading companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange. This research was classified as a causal research with the total sample of 34 trading companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange during the years 2008-2010. The data were processed with classic assumption test and hypothesis test that consists of t test and F test on 5% level of significant 5% (d = 0.05). The result of this research showed that cash turnover, accounts receivable turnover, and inventory turnover have influence simultaneously on economic rentability in trading companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange. On the other hand, cash turnover has influence partially on economic rentability while accounts receivable turnover and inventory turnover do not have influence partially on economic rentability in trading companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange. Adjusted R Square that showed value 0.076 indicates that 7% tuming in economic rentability could be determined by the independent variables of this research while the remainder 93% was explained by other factors.
