Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan pengaruh strategi pembelajaran Point Counter Point terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran ekonomi di SMA Negeri 11 Palembang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian jenis eksperimen yang menggunakan desain Pre Experimental-Design dengan bentuk Pretest-Posttest One Grup. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas XI IIS di SMA Negeri 11 Palembang. Sampel penelitian ini menggunakan Cluster Random Sampling, sampel yang terpilih adalah kelas XI IIS 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang berjumlah 38 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu tes dan observasi, dan proses pembelajaran menggunakan Whatsapp, Google Classroom, dan Zoom. Hipotesis menggunakan statistik parametris yaitu uji t-test sampel dan diperoleh Thitung 18,92 > 1,997 Ttabel maka hipotesis H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh strategi pembelajaran Point Counter Point terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran ekonomi di SMA Negeri 11 Palembang. Disarankan dalam menerapkan strategi pembelajaran Point Counter Point harus mendorong peserta didik untuk merangkum debat dengan mencari titik temu dari argumen-argumen yang muncul.
