Abstract

The Bandar Lampung Budget Hotel is a commercial residence based on a hotel or lodging that was built to fulfill Lampung tourism activities, especially Bandar Lampung City. Lampung's tourism sector in recent years has increased very rapidly in line with the increasing trend of traveling which is loved by most of today's millennial youth. It is directly proportional to the increasing number of tourists who come to Lampung, so the demand for rooms also increases. The market share that is the main focus of the Bandar Lampung Budget Hotel is solo travelers, bacpakers, and tour groups. Which is where the main aspects highlighted by this Bandar Lampung Budget Hotel are Good Sleep, Good Eat, and Good Price. Slightly different from the residential facilities offered by hotels in general, the Bandar Lampung Budget Hotel carries the concept of a Sleep Box and standard occupancy so that visitors can determine and adjust room choices according to their respective budgets and desires. By carrying out the concept of budgeting, the Sleep Box type room can save space and minimize unused empty space, besides that the Sleep Box room type is also fairly practical for those who are anti-complicated and still need privacy. The Budget Hotel Design Concept Approach in Bandar Lampung uses the concept of Minimalism Architecture, which pays close attention to non-functioning vacuum space, and the boundaries of pseudo-space, which are expected to accommodate and maximize the activities of hotel visitors and managers. The concept of Minimalism besides being able to throw away unused empty space also for ornaments also looks simpler and of course can save costs, the facade of the Hotel Budget Bandar Lampung building differs in the linear and material fields, exposing the materials used such as concrete materials, and fields linear in order to emphasize the shape. This minimalist concept also has an impact on saving energy use because it is suitable for the Bandar Lampung Budget Hotel which is of course low price.
