Abstract

This classroom action research aims to improve the learning outcomes of class IV students at SDN 17 Palembang. The method used is Model Inquiry. The form of this research conducted in three cycles. The subject studied were fourth grade students of the SDN 17 Palembang academic year 2018/2019 with a total of 26 students. This research data was collected by the test method. The results of study indicate that (1) there is an increase in the percentage of learning outcomes from 53,8% in cycle 1 to 61,5 in cycle 2, and (2) there was an increase in learning outcomes from 61,5% in cycle 2 to 69,2% in cycle 3. Based on the result of these studies it can be conclude that the inquiry model has improve the learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SDN 17 Palembang academic year 2018/2019.
