Abstract
The performance appraisal is a tool that has benefits to evaluate, to motivate and work out the employee’s performance. Performance appraisal consist of three (3) steps, there are : The first step is assign the job Standard the second step is performance appraisal process and then compare it with job Standard which has made, and the third step is feed back to employees. The objective of this research is to knowing whether if there is an effect of performance appraisal process to the employee performance Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) Branch Palembang. This research is using variable descriptive analysis and double regression analysis which they are the employee performance to assignment of job Standard performance appraisal and feed back Research finding shown that assignment of job Standard and the feed back could increasing the employee performance, but in the other side this process evaluation giving much effects to the performance. It is caused by the implementation of evaluation system still so far from expectation of the employees.
