Abstract

This study aims to prove the effectiveness of the Example Non Example learning model on student learning outcomes in economic subjects at SMA Negeri 12 Palembang. This research is an experimental type of research using Pre-Experimental Design in the form of One Group Pretest-Posttest. The population in this study were all class X IPS at SMA Negeri 12 Palembang. The research sample used Cluster Random Sampling, and class X IPS 1 as the experimental class, totaling 36 students. The prerequisite test was the pretest data normality test (-9.7616) and the posttest data normality test (-3.866) which were normally distributed and the simple regression test was 0,61. Hypothesis testing is the Pearson product-moment correlation with the value of r 0.9849, which means that it has a strong value from the value range of 0.80 to 1,000, the determinant coefficient is 97% which affects the learning outcomes of students and the t-test sample is related and obtained t-count ≥ t-table that is 16,41 ≥ 1,994 then the hypothesis Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. So it can be concluded that there is an effect of the Example Non Example learning model on student learning outcomes in economic subjects at SMA Negeri 12 Palembang. It is recommended that educators provide enjoyable learning so as to improve the economic results of student learning. More expanding knowledge about the learning models, and educators should improve the quality of learning by adding insight and knowledge to the Example Non Example learning model.
