Abstract

Food industry is one of industries that unions in midlle manufacture. The contribution that is given by food industry keeps rising. Till 2004, it is dominant enough, 28,3 percen. Though, the industry work is low. It is because the whole work of manufacture industry, especially non-industry,is low. It is low from a point of efeciency. From 1998 till 2002, the output increased but the increasing point was not as huge as what happened to midlle cost, so, the additional point was low. It influenced to work eficincy. Eficiency level made by the food industry from 1998 till 2002 was less eficien, that the was less than one. Food industry work, seen from the amount of employee, was high enough. It though there are employee minus in some years, but increasing is big enough in the next year.
