Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gaya kepemimpinan apa yang diterapkan pada CV. Mitra Bijaksana Palembang. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pimpinan CV. Mitra Bijaksana Palembang menerapkan Gaya Kepemimpinan Otoriter atau Task Leadership. Sejumlah karyawan yang merupakan sampel penelitian ini menilai bahwa pimpinan perusahaan lebih memperhatikan tugas atau kewajiban daripada kesejahteraan karyawannya. Hal ini yang menjadi salah satu faktor terjadinya Labour Turn Over. Gaya kepemimpinan ini juga membuat karyawan malas untuk bekerja, ini ditunjukkan dari tingginya persentase absensi pada CV. Mitra Bijaksana. Untuk menanggulangi permasalahan tersebut, penulis menyarankan agar pimpinan perusahaan merubah gaya kepemimpinannya menjadi gaya kepemimpinan demokratik atau Team Leadership.
