Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of transparency in the management of pension funds to the general public (public). This study aims to determine the management of pension funds at PT Pertamina (Persero) Refinery Unit III Plaju, Palembang. The research method used is a qualitative research method using a descriptive approach. The data collection techniques used were observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The indicators used are planning, organizing, actuating and controlling. The results showed that the management of pension funds at PT Pertamina (Persero) Refinery Unit III Plaju, Palembang has been going well, there are only a few obstacles, namely the data form that retirees must send once a year, if they are late or do not provide a re-data form then can be subject to sanctions in the form of: suspension of pension funds, and sending of files which must all pension workers send new files to be sent to the head office (Jakarta), as well as a lack of transparency regarding the job description and responsibilities of RU III Office of Human Capital Refinery Unit III Plaju, Palembang.
