Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat rentabilitas serta kinerja keuangan perusahaan jasa sub sekior transportasi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEJ) dengan menggunakan Return On Ecjuity (ROE), Return On Assets (ROA), Net Profit Margin (NPM), serta dengan menggunakan metode Economic Value Addecl (EVA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar rentabilitas perusahaan berada dalam keadaan kurang baik. Perusahaan berada dalam keadaan kurang baik disebabkan karena hutang dan beban yang lebih besar daripada laba yang diperoleh. Sementara dengan menggunakan metode EVA, sebagian besar perusahaan berada dalam keadaan baik, hal ini menggambarkan bahwa'adanya penciptaan nilai tambah ekonomis pada perusahaan tersebut. Dengari hasil ini 'manajemen perusahaan harus lebih meningkatkan efisiensi perusahaannya. Kata Kunci: ROE, ROA, NPM, EVA
