Abstract
This type of research is the R & D type development research. Using the Rowntree method and using the Tessmer evaluation. This study aims to produce module printed media products in the subject of occupational health and safety at Sriwijaya University in the form of a valid and practical module for use. The research was carried out in the mechanical engineering education of Sriwijaya University in 2018/2019 academic year. This study consists of 3 stages, namely the planning stage, development stage and evaluation stage. Data collection techniques used are expert validation, interview sheets, and questionnaires. Expert validation is done to find out the validity of the product, the interview is used to make improvements after being validated by the validator. Questionnaire was used to determine the practicality of the product being developed. The results showed that the level of validity of occupational health and safety modules was expressed through the testing of experts and the opinions of students. The percentage achieved by material experts is 81.25%. The percentage obtained from media experts is 78.84%. The results at the person-to-person stage are valid to be used, while the results of the percentage of the small-group trial stage are 84% and in the field test phase the percentage is 94.10%. These results indicate that the occupational safety and health module is valid and practical.
