Abstract

In breaking the chain of the spread of the COVID-19 virus in Indonesia, the government has implemented a policy of online learning for all formal educational institutions. Utilizing digital technology in the implementation of online learning requires the ability to use digital technology appropriately. Therefore, having good digital literacy is very important in implementing online learning strategies. This research is a qualitative descriptive study that aims to describe the digital literacy of elementary school teachers in online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. The method used was the distribution of questionnaires with 21 teachers of SDN 01 Palembang as respondents and interviews with the principal and 3 teacher representatives from elementary school. The results of the study can be concluded that the digital literacy of teachers at SDN 01 Palembang is good, as indicated by the percentage of digital literacy competencies owned by the teacher, which is 98.14% followed by the use of digital media with a percentage of 94.44%. Where from the results of the interviews, teachers at SDN 01 Palembang mostly used digital media there are Whatsapp and Google Classroom as a medium of communication during online learning by considering the conditions of each student.
