Abstract

This study aims to find out the existence of salary on the performance of the teachers of Fatimah Islamic Primary School of Palembang. It used a quantitative approach. The respondents were all the teachers of the school with the total number of 30 teachers as population sample. The result of the study shows that there was an influence of salary against the performance of the teachers. Statistically, it indicated that the salary stipulated by the school head and administrator of the Foundation of Fatimah Islamic Primary School of Palembang significantly influenced on the performance of the teachers of the school The primary data were collected using questionnaire. The technique of data analysis used a simple regression analysis. In conclusion, the salary has a positive influence on the teachers ’ performance.
