Abstract

Google classroom is one form of e-learning media. Google classroom is expected to ease the burden on learning activities because it can be accessed anytime, anywhere, and can connect lectures and students when outside or in the classroom. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of using google classroom learning media on the quality of learning of students of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Sriwijaya University. This research method uses a quantitative method with the type of quantitative associative. The population in this research is the students of the 2018 and 2019 the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Sriwijaya, totaling 1710 students. Study sample a total of 95 students who are determined by using simple random sampling technique. The variables of this study is the Use of Learning Media Google Classroom (X) and the Quality of Learning (Y). Data collection techniques using a questionnaire with likert scale. The results of research conducted shows that tcount (7,082) > ttable (1,985) with the value of the correlation coefficient of 0.713 and the coefficient determinant of 0,508. This means that there is a significant effect of using google classroom learning media on the quality of learning of students of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Sriwijaya University amounted to 50,8%.
