Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has an impact on the components in business and industry that directly or indirectly forces the organizations involved to perform better operational performance. Dezainla Creative Group is a company engaged in the field of custom merchandise. When controlling inventories for raw materials, there are several problems such as an unknown insufficient stock and the purchase of raw materials without a calculation method about the optimal amount of raw material that must be purchased. In addition, Dezainla Creative Group also has experienced problems in recording production reports and inaccurate materials expenditure. Based on the problems that occur, then it is proposed a design of raw material inventory information and production reporting system to overcome problems that occur using the Supply Chain Management approach and the calculation method of EOQ and ROP. The system development method used is a web-based FAST (Framework for Application of System Thinking) with PHP and MySQL programming languages as the database.
