Abstract
This study aims to determine the effects of authoritarian leadership style on the performance of employees at Marsudi Putra Dharmapala Social Institution. A quantitative approach was used in this study. The population of this study included all employees at Marsudi Putra Dharmapala Social Institution. Fifty employees were taken as the sample. The results of this study indicate that there are effects of authoritarian leadership style on employees performance.Statistically, the authoritarian leadership style that was applied by the leader of the Technical Implementation Unit Departmentof Marsudi Putra Dharmapala Social Institution influenced the employees ’ performance significantly by 1%. The source of the data was derived from primary data by spreading the questionnaire. Data analysis technique used is simple regression analysis. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that job satisfaction has a positive influence to the performance of employees.lt means that if an authoritarian leadership style is high, the level of employees ’ performance will decrease.
