Abstract

This research is intended to knowing the learning motivation of learning of children from single parents. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. Data collection methods used are questionnaires and documentation. The population of children from single parent in Tegal Rejo village is 141 children of 63 samples with Purposive Sampling, with criteria are children from single parents, 12-15 years old, and still in junior high school / equal education and non formal institution. The results showed that the motivation of learning of children from single families in the Village Tegal Rejo Lawang Kidul District is high. In accordance with the criteria of score interpretation, and the result of the overall recapitulation of 29 respondents (46%) have very high motivation and 29 (46%) have high motivation, while 5 (7,9%) others have moderate motivation. Furthermore, seen from the intrinsic and extrinsic indicators tend to be more dominant on the Intrinsic indikatot or inner learning motivation.
