Abstract

The development of a project method guidebook has been carried out and implemented for group B children in TK N Pembina Uludanau. The purpose of this study to produce a guide book project methods for children in group B were valid and practical.With the development research method using the Rowntree model, namely the planning, development and evaluation stages. In the evaluation using the formative tessmer evaluation, there are four stages, namely the self-evaluation, expert review, one-to-one evaluation, and small group evaluation. Collecting data at this stage using a questionnaire and observation methods. Analysis of the validity data obtained an average percentage of 82% with a very valid category. Meanwhile, the results obtained from the analysis of the observation data of children and teachers in the one-to-one evaluation and small group evaluation stages obtained an average of 89% with the very practical category. The next stage is the teacher questionnaire sheet with an average percentage of 87% in the very practical category. Practically here, the book can help teachers in project methods for group B children, with this project method it can expand children's thinking which is useful for dealing with problems and can improve group work abilities and can foster students in applying knowledge, attitudes and skills, which are expected to be useful in everyday life. Thus the product of the project method guidebook for group B children is declared valid and practical so that it can be used in the field. To achieve valid perfection, the guidebook still has a deficiency of 18%, it can be seen from the material used more dominantly using science material. For this reason, it is suggested that further researchers develop a different material.
