Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of using discovery learning models on student learning outcomes in the volume of cubes and blocks at Elementary School Number 11 Indralaya. The research method used was the experimental type pre-experimental design, namely one group pretest-postest design by taking a sample of one class, class V B students, totaling 26 students. The instrument used in data collection were tests and observations. In testing the hypothesis the = 21,599 and with a significance level of 5% = 2,059. It can be concluded that “there is a significant influence on student learning outcomes through the use of discovery learning models in class V Elementary School Number 11 Indralaya. With this research it is suggested that in mathematics learning using the discovery learning model, it is better if an attractive learning media is provided so that the use of the discovery learning model is more optimal and can really help students in learning activities.
