Abstract

Cooperative is a form of company established by the community to carry out activities, based on certain provisions and objectives. The Covid-19 pandemic has had an impact on social and economic aspects. The aim of this research is: (1) to measure the performance of BMT cooperatives during the Covid-19 Pandemic in carrying out cooperative activities, (2) to measure the level of participation of cooperative members during the Covid-19 Pandemic in carrying out cooperative activities, (3) to measure the performance of KUBE during the Covid-19 Pandemic in carrying out cooperative activities (4) to analyze the relationship between the level of participation of members and the performance of KUBE with the performance of the BMT Trans Mekar Sari Mandiri cooperative during the Covid-19 Pandemic. This research was conducted in Muliasari Village, Tanjung Lago District, Banyuasin Regency in February 2021. The research method used was a survey. Data collection methods used are primary data in the form of respondent identity, descriptions of cooperatives, and questions about cooperative performance, member participation and KUBE performance. And secondary data in the form of general condition of the research area, village monographs and previous studies. Based on the results of the analysis, the performance of the BMT Trans Mekar Sari Mandiri cooperative during the Covid-19 pandemic including high criteria with an average score of 43.58. The results of the analysis of the participation level of the members of the BMT Trans Mekar Sari Mandiri cooperative during the Covid-19 Pandemic including high criteria with an average score of 42.34. The results of the analysis of the performance of the KUBE cooperative BMT Trans Mekar Sari Mandiri during the Covid-19 Pandemic included in the high criteria with an average score of 15.7. The relationship between member participation and performance during the Covid-19 Pandemic has a correlation coefficient of 0.476 and the strength level of the relationship is moderate and there is a significant relationship at α = 0.05 which is unidirectional. The relationship between KUBE performance during the Covid-19 pandemic has a correlation coefficient of 0.405 and the strength level of the relationship is moderate and there is a significant relationship at α = 0.05 which is unidirectional.
