Abstract

DKPP (Dinas Ketahanan Pangan dan Perternakan) Provinsi Sumatera Selatan merupakan lembaga pemerintahan atau instansi yang bernaung dalam melakukan pengkajian, pengembangan, serta koordinasi pemantapan yang salah satunya berfokus pada “Ketahanan Pangan” pada wilayah Sumatera Selatan, dimana yang bertugas dalam mengaturnya yaitu Bidang Distribusi dan Cadangan Pangan. Salahsatu tugasnya adalah mulai dari produksi pangan daerah, kinerja pelaksana distribusi, hingga pemasaran hasil pangan, membuat informasi yang digunakan sebagai pertimbangan penting dalam pengambilan kebijakan tersebut belum optimal. Maka dari itu, diperlukan sebuah proses dalam mengoptimasi tercapainya suatu manajemen data agar penanganan dan pengelolaan akan terintegrasi dengan baik. Dalam proses optimasi ini, Menggunakan sistem Business Intelligence yang merupakan suatu konsep dan metode dalam peningkatan kualitas pengambilan kebijakan bisnis yang didasari sistem berbasiskan data, sehingga digunakan sebagai acuan dalam meningkatkan kinerja manajemen. DKPP (Food and Livestock Security Service) of South Sumatra Province is a government agency or agency that takes shelter in conducting assessments, developments, and coordination of stabilization which is wrongly focused on "Food Security" in the South Sumatra region, where in regulating it is the Food Distribution and Reserve Sector. One of the methods used is starting from regional food production, distribution implementers, to marketing results, making information that is an important consideration in making the policy not optimal. Therefore, we need a process in optimizing the achievement of a data management so that the handling and management will be well integrated. In this optimization process, using a Business Intelligence System which is a method and method for improving the quality of policies based on a data system, which is used as a reference in improving management performance.
