Abstract

This research is entitled "Development of Muqimus Sunnah Islamic Boarding School in Ilir Barat II District Palembang City in 2009-2018 (Contribution of Material to the Course of History and Educational Development)". The problem in this research is how the development of Muqimus Sunnah Islamic Boarding School in 2009-2018. The purpose of this study was to determine the developments that occurred in Muqimus Sunnah Islamic Boarding School in 2009-2018. This study uses a historical method through several stages of research, namely heuristics, source criticism, interpretation, historiography and approaches. Based on the results of the study, it was found that Muqimus Sunnah Islamic Boarding School was founded in 2008 and experienced a significant development. This can be seen from the increase in the number of students, teaching staff, facilities and infrastructure as well as the many achievements that have been obtained by the school both in the academic and non-academic fields. The development of Muqimus Sunnah Islamic Boarding School cannot be separated from the assistance of various parties including leaders, educators, and students who have their own way to make the islamic boarding schools the foremost and best.
