Abstract

This research aims to detennine whether there was influenced of work stress on inpatient nurses at Pertamina Prabumulih hospital. Data collection technique was done by census with distributing questionnaires to 36 inpatient nurses at Pertamina Prabumulih hospital. This research used primary data obtained from questionnaire data and analytical technique used was simple regression analysis technique. The results of this study indicate that work stress significantly influenced the perfonnance of inpatient nurses at Pertamina Prabumulih hospital. Therefore, the suggestion given is hospital management should often do evaluation about work stress at least once a month to control whether job stress remain stable or not. If job stress in unstable position, the hospital can anticipat it.
