Abstract

This study examines the “Behaviour Change In Female Prisoners Through Religious Formation At The Correctional Institution Of Class IIA Woman Palembang”. The purpose of this research is to know behaviour changes that occur in female prisoners through religious formation at The Correctional Institution Of Class IIA Woman Palembang. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with the number of informants in the study as many as nine informants. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, interviews and documentation. This study uses the theory of S-O-R (Stimulus, Organism, Response) from Efendy. The result of the study revealed that behavioural changes in female prisioners can be classified into two forms, namely closed behaviour changes and open behaviour changes. Prisioners’ closed behaviour changes in the form of feelings of regret and open behaviour changes in the form of increasing the intensity of worship ang being able to recite the Qur’an.
