Abstract
This research to describe students' responses to ethnomathematics-based learning in the context of the Palembang Traditional House of SMP Negeri 10 Palembang. This research is a descriptive study, the research instrument is the human instument who to act as the main instrument ad in collecting data through documentation, questionnaires and interviews. The results show that students' responses to ethnomathematics-based learning in the traditional house culture of Palembang with the material of flat shapes, especially triangles and quadrilaterals, obtained an average student response of 95.1 on the aspect of interest which belongs to the positive response category. The student's response obtained an average of 96.2 on the aspect of motivation which was classified into the category of positive response. And students get an average of 97.75 in the aspect of satisfaction belonging to the category of a very positive response.
