Abstract
Human on earth have dependence to use plastic and paper in their lives, from both of industrial and household needs, it can be a new problems to increasing amount of plastic and paper waste. This problem is caused by the rapidly population growth in multiple cities in the world, especially in Indonesia and the lack of knowledge how to manage plastic waste and the lack of public awareness to limit the amount of paper use. To reduce the amount of waste, several processing techniques are used for waste management, which one is the combustion method. Many Indonesian people use burn waste method for reduce the amount of waste, but usually people don't understand what is the impact from burning waste in the open area, which can interfere with people health if they are near from burning location. If want to use the method of burning waste but with minimal pollution, a tool called an incinerator can be a solution with fuel in the form of solid waste was developed which processes high temperature waste combustion (600oC–1,000oC). The benefit from incinerators used is to reduce the volume of rubbish and reduce smoke pollution if rather than burning waste at open area and pollution from the pile of plastic, paper and leaf waste. For the manufacture of the exhaust smoke gas filter, additional equipment is needed, which will add costs to the manufacture of the incinerator and a substance is needed to neutralize the water in the filter before it is dispose, so it will not pollute the environment.
