Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan upaya ibu rumah tangga dalam menambah pendapatan keluarga melalui berdagang online di Kecamatan Tanjung Harapan Kota Solok. Adapun jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini, yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Pemilihan informan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling sehingga didapatkan jumlah informan dalam penelitian ini 4 orang, yaitu ibu rumah tangga yang melakukan usaha berdagang online, seperti menjual donat, ceker mercon, boba, dan salad. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan kepada ibu rumah tangga dalam membantu suami menambah pendapatan keluarga melalui usaha berdagang online pada masa pandemi dilakukan melalui dua upaya. Pertama, ibu rumah tangga menjalankan peran ganda dengan baik dan tanpa paksaan. Kedua, Ibu-ibu tersebut memanfaatkan akun sosial media, seperti pada aplikasi WhatsApp, Facebook, maupun Instagram dalam mempromosikan dagangan. Upaya yang dilakukan ibu rumah tangga tersebut sangat membantu dalam menambah pendapatan keluarga dan terpenuhinya kebutuhan sehari-hari secara finansial. Kata Kunci: Upaya Ibu Rumah Tangga, Peran Ganda, Menambah Pendapatan ABSTRACT This study aims to describe how the efforts of housewives in increasing family income through staying up late online in Tanjung Harapan District, Solok City. This type of research in descriptive with a qualitative approach. Data collection methods in this study are observation, interviews and documentation. The selection of informants used a purposivee sampling technique, so that the number of informants in this study was 4 people, namely hoisewives who did online trading business online such as selling donuts, claw firecrackers, boba, and salad. The results of research conducted on housewives in helping their husbands family income through online trading business during the pamdemic were carried out intwo ways. First, housewives carry out dual roles well and without coercion. Second, these mothers use social media accounts, such as the WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram applications in promoting their merchandise. The efforts made housewives are very helpful in increasing family income and fulfilling daily need financially. Keywords: Efforts of Housewives, Dual Roles, Increase Income
