Abstract

Sampah merupakan masalah utama yang dihadapi kota-kota di Indonesia termasuk Kota Palembang. Kecamatan Ilir Timur II dan Ilir Barat II adalah dua kecamatan dengan kepadatan penduduk yang tinggi dengan jumlah 8.762 jiwa/km2 dan 6.772 jiwa/km2. Pengoptimalan Tempat Pembuangan Sementara di Kecamatan Ilir Timur II dan Ilir Barat II dilakukan dengan menggunakan model set covering yaitu Set Covering Location Problem (SCLP) dan p-Median Problem dengan bantuan aplikasi LINGO 13.0. Model set covering yang terbentuk diselesaikan dengan Myopic Algorithm. Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan solusi optimal penempatan TPS di Kecamatan Ilir Timur II dan Ilir Barat II adalah solusi dari Myopic Algorithm. Lokasi TPS optimal di Kecamatan Ilir Timur II adalah TPS Pasar/Terminal Lemabang, TPS Jl. Sutan Sahril Sesudah Bengkel Aman, dan TPS Jl. Perintis Kemerdekaan Seberang Lorong Manggar 2. Sedangkan lokasi optimal TPS di Kecamatan Ilir Barat II adalah TPS Jl. Pasar Sekanak, TPS Jl. Kartini, TPS Jl. Raden Fatah, dan TPS Jl. Ki Gede Ingsuro.
