Abstract

The large number of farmers who have livelihoods as rubber farmers causes problems in marketing. It is hoped that the existence of the Village Unit Cooperative is expected to help farmers in selling their agricultural products. KUD in South Sumatra Province which is still actively marketing rubber products through auction is KUD Berkat, located in Muara Enim Regency. The objectives of this study were to: (1) analyze the performance of KUD Berkat in Lubuk Raman Village, Muara Enim Regency (2) calculate income rubber farming that is a member of KUD Berkat in Lubuk Raman Village, Muara Enim Regency. The method used in this study was a survey method (3)arrange a strategy for the development Of KUD berkat in Lubuk Raman Village, Muara Enim Regency. The sampling method used in this study was purposive sampling method. Data collection techniques using primary data, secondary data and time series data. The result of this study are (1)assessment of KUD Berkat's performance based on the Regulation of the Minister of State 06 / Per / MKUKM / 2006 financial performance was categorized Very good and non-financial performance based on organizational aspects was in good category (2) the income earned for KUD Berkat members was Rp. 72,899,671.50 (3) the right strategy for developing KUD Berkat lies in quadrant 1, namely supporting an aggressive strategy, this position is advantageous because KUD Berkat can take full advantage of opportunities
