Abstract

Rice field types in South Sumatra consist of tidal land, swampy or marsh and irrigation. Differences typology in rice farming land will have impact on the productivity and income of farm households. Irrigated land has a higher productivity which is 8819.11 kg/ha/yr compared to the productivity of the tidal land that is equal to 4641.02 kg/ha/yr. Total income irrigated land farming is Rp45,258,410.59/lg/th with a percentage contribution of 41.61 percent from rice farming and 58.39 percent came from other farms.
