Abstract
The need for electrical energy that is always increasing must be met so that there is no shortage energy. This study uses the weight of a man's footsteps with a weight of 62 Kg with 6x steps and variations of different Capacitors. In a parallel circuit with an average power rating without a capacitor of 11.5015×10-4 W, for a 1 F capacitor the value of the power is 7.476×10-4 W and in a series circuit with an average value of a power without a capacitor 3.4583 × 10-4 W, for a 1 F capacitor 2.6915 ×10-4 W . In a series circuit the output power value when using a capacitor or without using a capacitor, the resulting power value is smaller than the parallel circuit. Because in a series circuit the resistance that occurs will increase which causes a decrease in the value of the current. The resulting power value is more stable when using capacitors. Because the capacitor can store a charge in it which can supply the value of power when the applied pressure is reduced, the capacitor can provide a temporary electric charge to the load. The use of capacitor capacitance also affects the value of the output power produced if the greater the capacitance of the capacitor, the greater the resistance in it. And if the value of the capacitor is getting smaller, the power generated will be even greater because the resistance value in it is small and the charging process and stability are faster.
