Abstract
This research was aimed to design an automatic plant monitoring a watering tool with fertigation method based on internet of things (IoT). The method used in this research was an experimental method with the presentation of the results using descriptive data in the form of tables and graphs. The research method consisted of several stages, namely literature study, preparation of tools and materials, system design consisting of hardware design and software design, and data analysis. The parameters observed were testing the accuracy and precision of the sensor, testing the automatic watering tool and testing the android application. In this research, monitoring and watering plants can automatically run properly according to their functions, which were detecting soil moisture, temperature, air moisture and being able to water according to the desired level of soil moisture content. The average accuracy of the soil moisture sensor was 98.25%, the temperature sensor DHT-11 was 98.03%, and the humidity sensor DHT-11 was 95.30%. The average precision level on the soil moisture sensor was 98.73%, the temperature sensor DHT-11 was 99.75%, and the humidity sensor DHT-11 was 99.50%.
