Abstract

This study aims to determine the comparison of the learning outcomes of class VIII students in Civics subjects through online learning with offline learning at Tri Dharma Junior High School Palembang. This study uses a qualitative method, in taking samples using a simple random sampling technique with techniques in collecting post-test data, documentation and observation. The results showed that there were differences in student learning outcomes with an average score of 79 offline learning and an average score of 66.5 on online learning on the T-Test (Paired Samples Test) with a significance value of 0.006 <0.05 indicating a significant difference between the initial variables. with the final variable.In addition, there are many factors that influence the results of observations on online learning, the slow response of students in responding to questions asked, the limitations of internet packages and facilities such as smartphones that still use their parents.
