Abstract

Daun sukun (Artocarpus altilis (Parkinson) Fosberg) terbukti mengandung senyawa bioaktif flavonoid dan secara in vivo memiliki kemampuan antioksidatif. Kemampuan transfersom berpenetrasi melewati stratum korneum dapat meningkatkan nilai farmakokinetik dan efek farmakologis ekstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh variasi konsentrasi Phospholipon 90G dan Tween 80 terhadap formulasi dan karakterisasi transfersom ekstrak etanol daun sukun. Kadar total flavonoid ekstrak etanol daun sukun sebesar 98,349 mg QE/g ekstrak. Pembuatan suspensi transfersom menggunakan metode hidrasi lapis tipis dengan rasio konsentrasi Phospholipon 90G dan Tween 80 sebesar 75:25; 80:20; 85:15; 90:10 dan 95:5. Transfersom formula 2 dengan rasio konsentrasi 80:20 sebagai formula terbaik memiliki nilai zeta potensial sebesar -36,9 mV, persentase efisiensi penjerapan 90,48%, ukuran partikel 320,8 nm, indeks polidispersitas 0,425 dan morfologi yang sferis. Formula terbaik cukup stabil dengan penurunan kadar sebesar 1,74% tanpa perubahan aroma dan konsistensi suspensi. Kata Kunci: Daun sukun, flavonoid, Phospholipon 90G, Tween 80, transfersom
