Abstract

This research is entitled "The influence of fanaticism of Korean boyband Bangtan Soenyeondan on verbal aggression behavior on Instagram social media". The purpose of this study is to find out whether the fanaticism of ARMY (BTS Fans) is the cause of verbal aggression behavior on Instagram social media. The object of this research is SMA Negeri 6 students who are fans of the Korean boyband Bangtan Soenyeondan. This research was conducted by using quantitative methods that are associative. The population in this study amounted to 104 people while the sample in this study amounted to 51 people. The data collection technique used in this research is to use questionnaires and documentation.The results showed that there was an influence between the fanaticism of the Korean boyband Bangtan Soenyeondan on verbal aggression behavior on Instagram social media. The influence of the fanaticism level of Korean boyband Bangtan Soenyeondan on verbal aggression behavior on Instagram social media is 49%
